My son is 6 months old and weighs 17lbs 12oz, I know that for a forward facing car seat you need to be 9kgs. However my son is quite long and has out grown his baby carrier, I want a car seat that is rear and forward facing, but I would also like an Isofix car seat. I have looked on the internet and there doesn't seem to be much choice.
Has anyone had this problem too?
Or, Does anyone know where I can get one from???



Not that I know of, but I have the Britax si and just used the seatbelt and it was fine. It's not like you take it in and out of the car all the time, like you do when babies are small.

Even if your current seat seems small, it's probably fine. I took my child to be checked in his when I thought it was way too small for him and was told he had loads of room!
